Do you think you've seen an Eagle?
How many of us have stared up at a speck in the sky or quickly pulled over the car to get a better look at a bird that we think just may be an Eagle?
And how many of us, after watching the bird until it disappears from view, are left with the uneasy feeling that we just can’t say for certain if we’ve seen another Buzzard or have actually managed to grab a glimpse of an ever-elusive Eagle.

Typically, social distancing is not an issue for our four young project Eagles but in the last few weeks two of these youngsters have tested the boundaries a bit.

With this year's festival unavoidably cancelled the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project and the town of Moffat look forward to welcoming you all to the mini-highlands of the Southern Uplands next September!
The past few months have been trying for everyone and while COVID-19 restrictions have wrought major changes on the work of the SSGEP team, they appear to have had little effect on the four project Eagles who continue to roam the Southern Skies of Scotland.
