Skan (C17) did not get the warmest welcome to the South of Scotland from one of our Eagles, Beaky (C11) (see blog 9th August 2019) but is now thriving in Southern Skies.
He has wandered widely and has interacted with all of the project Eagles without any further issue.
The Wright Strokes - Sketches from Eagle Country #2
The latest installment from Eagle Officer John Wright's sketch book highlights the importance of watching and listening to all of the wildlife around you as, much like Alastair and Jane's noisy gulls over Edinburgh (Blog 8th May 2020), they can lead you to some magical encounters.
Below is a video from their short time with us in the aviary. Inquisitive Beaky is exploring her surroundings, tugging at food and the feeding hatch screen while Edward looks on with curiosity.
